The story
Design concept
The piece treats fabric as sculpture. Petal-like seams rise across the bodice and gather into a wrapped hip line, expressing confidence, movement and a distinctly cinematic glamour.
The making
Fabric & construction
Burgundy duchess satin is moulded over a multi-panel corset with spiral steel boning. Draped hip panels are cut on the bias, and horsehair braid at the hem preserves the dramatic flare of the train.
